The Board of Elections is a perfect place to look for standards in the event that they are difficult to find for a particular individual. Voting records are public, easily accessible and could offer the Examiner a twenty year history of a writer's signature.This sample (taken directly from a Voting Record) also demonstrates clearly the need for contemporaneous standards. Note how signature has changed between 1963 and 1983.
